Richard Payne is a Saint Lucian Pianist, Composer, Arranger, and Producer known for his innovative approach to music. He is the co-founder of Bluemangó , Wespé Pou Ayiti and other acclaimed musical projects.

Richard has collaborated with musicians from around the world, gracing concert and festival stages in the Americas, Europe and across the Caribbean. He has opened for renowned artists including EARTH WIND AND FIRE, John Legend, KASSAV, Richard Bona, Hugh Masekela, Monty Alexander, Kenny Garrett, Hamilton de Holanda, Sheila E, and numerous others.

His music has been featured in numerous documentaries, programmes and international publications including RFI ( Radio France International), WDNA (Miami), Jazz Magazine (France), Afropop Worldwide, Caribbean Beat In-Flight Magazine , a VERA (Virgin Atlantic In-Flight Magazine), France-Antilles Newspaper and other prominent platforms.

A testament to his contributions to music, Richard is a past recipient of Saint Lucia’s National M&C Fine Arts Gold and Silver Awards for excellence in the field of music.
