Richard Payne is a Saint Lucian pianist-composer who blends contemporary jazz with infectious grooves from the Caribbean. He has collaborated with musicians from around the world, gracing festival and concert stages in the Americas, Europe and across the Caribbean. He has opened for Earth Wind & Fire, Kassav, John Legend, Monty Alexander, Kenny Garrett, Richard Bona, Sheila E, Hamilton de Holanda and numerous others. His original music has been featured on RFI, Jazz Magazine and Afropop Worldwide among others His latest album, INTROSPECTION, was released in March 2025.
