Richard Payne is a Saint Lucian pianist-composer who blends contemporary jazz with infectious grooves from the Caribbean. With varied influences ranging from CHICK COREA to KASSAV, Richard’s sophisticated musical textures draw heavily from the wellspring of his Creole-Caribbean heritage and identity. His music has been featured on BET Jazz, RFI (Radio France International) and Jazz Magazine, among others. His latest album, INTROSPECTION, was released in March 2025.
